Corker Bottoms

Malthouses Development Proposal Layout | 15/06/2021
Malthouses development proposal layout for 73 x 2, 3 and 4 new homes.
Corker Bottoms

Manor Park has excellent access to public transport and is less than four miles to the Meadowhall Shopping centre and only four miles to the M1. More locally, the neighbourhood is also served by a shopping centre at Manor Top and the Green Flag award winning Manor Fields District Park.

There is an active local community in the neighbourhood led by organisations like Manor Castle Development Trust and Green Estate which provide a number of services to support community life. Primary and secondary schools are within walking distance.

What we're building:

15 x 2 bed homes
20 x 3 bed homes
12 x 4 bed homes

The homes will be the same bold, high quality designs as the new houses on Harborough Avenue, Stonecliffe Road and Archdale Road. Construction began on site at Corker Bottoms in early 2024 and is currently scheduled to be completed in late 2025. These properties will be available as a mixture of Council owned affordable rent and shared ownership.

Sustainable Drainage in Manor Fields Park

As part of our plans to build new homes across the Corker Bottoms and Pennine Village sites we are proposing an innovative water management scheme, designed to ease pressure on Sheffield's sewer system.

The sustainable drainage system – or SuDS – would reduce the flow of water in Kirkbridge Dyke, in Manor Fields Park, when there is increased flow due to heavy rain.

To find out more about the SuDS proposal please visit our news page. To view the planning application please visit: https://planningapps.sheffield.gov.uk/online-applications/ and enter Kirkbridge Dyke or 20/01751/FUL as key words.
